My name is Steve Argabright, founder of Revive Us Ministries, a homeless ministry that serves the least of these. Twenty years ago I would have never seen myself working with the homeless community, let alone be the founder of one. I was the guy that would pull up to a red light and see a homeless person begging for food or cash. I would look down at my car radio and act like I was turning the channel just so I wouldn’t have to make eye contact. I would think, “you’re just taking advantage of people struggling in their own lives, trying to make ends meet. I simply thought I was better than

them. I always knew who God was. I knew Him in my head, just not in my heart. I was invited on a Christian retreat that changed my life forever. On that weekend, God lifted the scales from my eyes. It was like coming up out of the water and seeing everything new. That was God’s healing touch on my stone cold heart. It couldn’t have been more than two weeks later when I was connected with a local homeless ministry.

Eventually, God nudged me to start a new ministry. With much prayer, Revive Us Ministries was born in late December, 2019. We started by making around ten peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and going in the woods looking for people to feed and minister to.

We are a ministry that puts God first in all we do. We are to be His hands and feet and to serve Him. Now, almost three years later, we are serving anywhere from two to three hundred lunches per week.

Our ministry is excited to see where God leads us in the coming years!
